d-lit is the public name for the faction, and is very much a social label more than an organized group.
Human radicals make up most of this group, but it can and does also include unregistered Specials.
Public opinion matters with this group. Someone can be labeled d-lit by peers, media, coworkers, and family and be deemed an outcast because of it.
Leadership is nonexistent, much the same way other public groups have no set leadership, such as the lgbt community, the alt-right, or calling one's self a Christian.
Various groups exist all across the globe in different countries and some may have a stronger sense of organization than others.
Religious groups might crop up under this faction, or at least those who believe that Specials are superior, useful, or at least to be treated as equals.
Discrimination is something the Railroad doesn't deal with. Special or human, they believe in equality and safety above all else.
The network spans all across the country and into a few other countries such as Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Greece, France, Switzerland, Norway, and Australia.
Safe houses exist all across Lincoln City and surrounding areas and are only known to a select few.
Infiltration is always a worry for this group. As they deal with a lot of people and move a lot of goods and victims across state and federal lines, there are always those wanting to learn their secrets and use the Railroad's connections for themselves.
Led by Mirela Charani, the Lincoln City station on the railroad is run mainly by the Charani family and trusted friends.
Special royalty is said to have founded this group decades before Specials went public.
Faithful servants have been included in this group, especially those among the rich and famous as well as those with strong political connections.
Unchanged since Specials went public, they are a close, secretive group who want to see Specials hold places of honor among society.
Funding within the VA often goes toward smaller groups of d-lit so that they might maintain their organizations's secrecy.
Peace is something they fight for and while they want Specials to receive some recognition, they are not fanatics and don't condone murder and chaos.
Superiority is something that Imperium fights for strongly. They believe that Specials are superior and aren't above going to great lengths to achieve their goals.
Humans need not apply. They are a weaker species and Imperium has little tolerance for even the most well intentioned within the human spectrum.
Laws mean little with this group except to fuel their hate and propaganda against the status quo.
Immigration from other countries and locations are commonplace and they will often travel to where the fighting is the hottest, or where Specials are the most mistreated.
Imperium is very much a label and there is very little organization within this group, though there are pockets of stronger leadership to direct forces where they might cause the most damage to the government, property, Enforcers, and many innocent bystanders.
A coalition comprised of Enforcers and Specials led by the Lincoln City Enforcer Captain, Coen De Vries.
Enforcers who exhibit Special abilities will be recruited to this group if they wish to remain unregistered.
Specials who have proven to be trustworthy will be given Enforcer training, a badge, and a gun and will be expected to work as an Enforcer, usually with a non-powered partner to keep an eye on them.
Training takes place in an underground bunker that used to be used for Enforcer training before they got an updated facility. It's built to handle most Special abilities without causing too much damage to the structure above.
Many humans fall within this faction, as they believe Specials should be controlled or eliminated altogether.
Notable individuals within Reinheit include many politicians, news anchors, actors, Enforcers, and business owners who propose more legislation to control Specials.
Registration was their idea from the beginning and they wish to see humanity purified. Most would like a world without Specials at all.
