Bin 71

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

Bin 71 is reputable only because it is the dingiest, crappiest bar in South Lincoln. It got its name, quite literally, from a trash bin in the alley with the number "71" painted on the wall above it. The bar, ironically, is located nowhere near that dumpster.

Despite the state of disrepair, constant water leaks, cheap booze, questionable bodily fluids on furniture, drugs, danger, and fights that break out hourly, the place still manages to attract a decent sized crowd. The owners are known to not ask questions and if authorities ever dare set foot in the place, nobody knows anything and you were never there.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is a safe haven, however. It's not for the faint of heart and has seen more crime than half South Lincoln alone. You might get a beer. You might get shivved. It's really up in the air at this point.

Random Info

  • You can buy hookers here without anyone batting an eyelash.
  • Same goes for drugs.
  • All the booze is watered down but it's cheap so nobody cares.
  • There is an honorary trash bin outside the bar that people know better than to fuck with. It's literally just a small rubbermaid trash can with "71" spray painted on the side.
  • Do not order mixed drinks here or you might get poisoned.
  • This is located close to the tracks.
  • Do NOT sit in Jack's booth. Don't do it. Don't even look at it.

Black Ram Steakhouse

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

Located in Eastside, Black Ram Steakhouse is one of the fanciest places someone could dine. They're a newer place and only opened a few months ago, but they serve some of the greatest five star food anyone could ask for.

Their prices, however, are not for the faint of heart. While reasonable for what's being served and how it's being served, it's still expensive and a steak dinner for two could run you over $500 easily.

The atmosphere is chic, clean, and somewhat darkened for those close romantic encounters, but well lit enough to see and read the menu easily. They serve alcohol and some of the most creatively delectable desserts around.

Random Info

  • Valet parking is optional
  • The lighting looks expensive but it was all homemade.
  • There are vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.

Romani Campsite

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

In a big place like Lincoln City, there aren't many camping opportunities. For the Romani people, that usually means assimilating into the culture of the place and staying in hotels or renting small apartments that bill by the week. Traditionally, however, they stick together and live out of RVs, vans, tents, or small cabins.

This campsite is located to the west of Lincoln City in the outskirts and technically outside the city limits. They're not very trusting of outsiders and usually keep a few dogs for alarm purposes.

random info

  • There are lots of Specials in this particular band of gypsies so tread with caution
  • Most things are brightly colored.
  • Music, music everywhere.
  • Mirela Charani will swindle you if possible.

San Gregorio Beach

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

San Gregorio Beach is an hour drive from Lincoln City, but well worth the time it takes to get there. It's fairly popular without being overcrowded, and as such sports good food trucks, hat and jewelry vendors, and a nearby surf shop.

Hotels along the coast provide a getaway if it gets too late and makes a nice little vacation spot just a mere hour from home. And if you don't want to swim, there are some amazing tide pools nearby to explore, or just kick back and work on that tan and watch people try not to drown.

random info

  • Beware the tide and wear sunscreen.
  • The straw hats are a total ripoff so bring your own.
  • This is not a nude beach so cover your shit.
  • The beach closes at eleven pm, but the night guards can be bribed for a nominal fee.
  • Sharks are scarce in this area.

Enforcer Headquarters

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

This impressive set of buildings boasts an office building, parking garage, and warehouse where Specials are tested to be registered. It's located deep within North Lincoln's business district and is home not only to Enforcers, but also those training to become Enforcers.

The main building has a basement that's used for holding potentially dangerous Specials. The second floor is for administration, visitors, and temporary holding along with a small courtroom and offices for civil defense. Training facilities are on the second and third floors including a gun range and simulation room, and offices on the next two floors above that.

The Special Registration warehouse contains some of the most cutting-edge technology in the country. They have holding rooms with cots for Specials to stay during the registration process and specially designed rooms to help contain the force of Special's powers during testing. Such features include bronze lining in the walls to block EMP, very, very good drains for Dousers, stability shocks for Terras, and anything else they can do to help manage Special abilities.

random info

  • Coen's secretary's name is Thelma.
  • Donuts and coffee are highly encouraged at all times.
  • The parking garage leaks when it rains.
  • The elevators are so widely used that the stairs have fallen into a disgusting state of chipped paint and musty smell.

The Tracks

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

South Lincoln is bad, but anywhere near the Tracks is the worst of the bad. Located on the lower east side, these abandoned train tracks house most of the city's homeless population.

More poverty stricken than the rest, most people who either live in this area or hang out here are members of gangs or work in that environment. Nobody walks here alone at any time of the day unless they know how to defend themselves and even then it's a bit sketchy.

The area is overgrown, dilapidated, covered in graffiti, and smells vaguely of the sewer line that busted two years ago that authorities didn't bother to fix.

random info

  • Nobody is ever in power for long.
  • There are at least four different gangs in the area.
  • All graffiti means something, don't fuck with it.
  • Mind your own business.

Redstone Cliffs

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

On the edges of the Mojave Desert past the southeastern borders of the city lie some really beautiful and breathtaking landscapes. These range from cliff faces to valleys and bluffs. It boasts stunning views of the city and beyond as well as some local flora and fauna that don't grow in the city itself.

There are dirt roads that lead to the more popular areas as well as smaller hiking paths, but beware because the heat can get dangerous if you're not properly hydrated, dressed inadequately, or can't find some cooling shade. It's not recommended to travel here on foot between the hours of 1 pm and 5 pm in the summer.

random info

  • There's one particular cliff that's known for both jumpers and romantic encounters. It's quite popular among the locals for both reasons.
  • Turtles run faster than you think.
  • Sand is hot. Like really hot.
  • Sunscreen is important.
  • There are caves all over the place and some house both old native american drawings and graffiti in equal measures.

Mora Clock

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

Located in North Lincoln, Mora Clock (a Swedish grandfather clock) is a staple of the business community and caters to all those who work or visit North Lincoln. It's especially popular among Enforcers for beers after their shift, as the establishment is owned and operated by retired Enforcer Eirikr Åkerfeldt, and his wife, Sarah Åkerfeldt.

random info

  • Always tap the doorframe for luck.
  • The edge of the bar is detailed with some amazing carving work. Please don't faceplant into it. The bar will win.
  • Ragna, the owners' daughter works there. Be nice. She can kick your ass.
  • The house beer is phenomenal.
  • If you order food, be prepared to not know how to pronounce it.

Event Horizon

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

Sitting prominently in the heart of the Eastside is the club of choice for anyone willing to drop a pretty penny. Event Horizon is the place known for VIP treatment, because you often have to pay that just to get in. Far more than the clubs to dance, drink and drug it up, Event Horizon is for those eager to show off their social –and financial- status. It’s a favorite among celebrities and the rich, and anyone with enough money to get in the doors. With a dance-floor made of space-grade plexiglass and underlit with lights, smoke and glitter to simulate space, there’s something…other-worldly about getting lost in the music and lights.

If dancing gets exhausting, pay a little more to get the VIP privilege into one of their eleven private rooms. It comes with a butler, speakers to listen to tunes, as well as some of the most comfortable and lavish furniture and lighting that one could ever hope to ask for. Each room is themed after a Planet, with the final two themed for the Sun, and Milky Way respectively. Got $1000 lying about? Ask for the Andromeda room, and prepare to be treated like royalty with your very own hot-tub and world-class bartender to cater to your whims. Sit back and order one of their five-star drinks, made with only the finest top-shelf liquor from around the globe. Care to wander and mingle with the rest of the guests? Walk among sleek black floors touched with polished chrome and reflective lighting, glance up to the space-themed lights and projected images of nebulae on the ceiling.

If you care to belly up at the marble-topped bar and be sure to take in the projection of the supernova occurring on the hour. It’s practically a show stopper. If you’re looking for a little more fun to break up the dancing, drinking, and lounging, there’s a small room where arcade games can be found for those eager to let loose their inner child for a while.

Be aware, the staff are dressed to the nines and behave as such. They expect patrons on their best behavior, and though they’ll treat each customer like the VIP they are, they aren’t afraid to have the security throw anyone out who gets out of hand, or a little too drunk.

Random Info

  • Karaoke is an absolute no. They don’t do it, never have, never will.
  • The entrance fee is a delightful $100. If you want VIP treatment, you’re forking over about $250. VIP treatment includes half-price drinks (except for the exclusive four), 25% off private room rental (if one is open) as well as valet parking. Private rooms cost $500 for the night, with the Andromeda suite a paltry $1000.
  • Three exclusive drinks can be ordered, they cost about $50 and are only served here. Named after Nebulae, they are Helix, Omega and Carina.
  • If you’re a VIP, ask for the Messier 82. It's not on the menu, but the drink features flecks of diamond and gold in a dark blue liquor mix served in a cut crystal glass. It’s a stunning drink, with a stunning price-tag of $475.

ASSET Bunker

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

This is an underground bunker that used to be used for Enforcer training. Enforcers got an above ground facility for training about three years ago, and this underground one is mainly used for storing extra equipment and office supplies. That is until Coen uses it to train A.S.S.E.T.

The bunker is fitted with a lot of extras that will help shield special abilities from effecting anything outside the bunker. Electricity won't pass through the walls, for example. There are massive drains so it can't be flooded. There are shock absorbers in the case of seismic activity, etc.

The room still has a lot of old training equipment in it including a rock wall, obstacle course, virtual reality center, and all the usual workout equipment like treadmills, punching bags, padding, and more.

Random Info

  • The obstacle course has padding but it's very worn and very thin.
  • There are two exits and the door is stuck on the back way out so use with care.
  • The rock wall is a lot harder than it looks.
  • Nobody ever actually comes down here unless they need supplies.

essence research lab

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

Fully funded by the government, this lab is focused on better understanding special abilities, what cause them, how to identify them, replicate them, and suppress them. While they have many goals and are only loosely affiliated with the Enforcer system, one of their main objectives is to find a way to remove abilities from a person, essentially creating a "cure."

This lab has an area for patients to come in and give samples or to be medically tested as well as a much bigger area for the actual lab work and testing those samples. Most of the work done is completely legitimate, but the lab also does a few things that toe the line of morality, if not cross it completely.

Random Info

  • This is where Specials go if they want their sentences reduced.
  • If you read the fine print at the Southside Clinic, you'll see that some samples can be sent to this lab for testing.

southside clinic

user posted image

description

Board Location: here.

Southside Clinic is a medical service for low income individuals and families. They provide routine checkups, small emergency services such as setting bones and putting in stitches as well as rash and abrasion care. They can write prescriptions for many medications and antibiotics if needed, except for narcotics. They do not carry them and cannot prescribe them.

This is a pretty run down and outdated place. The linoleum is old and the paint on the walls is peeling, and while most of the space is kept as clean as they can get it, there might be some dust decorating those annoying waiting room pamphlets about STDs and diabetes.

The doctors here specialize in Specials, though anyone can be seen and treated here. They don't ask many questions which is great for certain injuries. However, when a patient signs the consent to be treated, they should read the fine print. It also gives permission for the clinic to send blood samples, hair samples, urine specimens, and much more to the Essence Research Lab in North Lincoln.

Random Info

  • Try to avoid Dr. Emmerson if you can. He'd handsy.
  • The front desk attendant has bright purple hair and a nose ring and if you smile at her, she will punch you in the teeth.
  • There are rumors that abortions can be done at this clinic, but nobody seems to have found anyone who has actually had one done or knows someone personally who has had one done.

Available Jobs

doctors
nurse practitioners
registered nurses
janitors
